TREIBSTOFF, the customer magazine of KRAVAG Insurance, has established itself as a leading publication in the fields of transport, traffic and safety, and is celebrating a special anniversary with its new issue 1/2026: for ten years now, the magazine has been published twice a year, consistently focusing on current topics in the logistics sector.
Under the special focus theme ‘Voll’, the editorial team once again offers a varied and in-depth read. The cover story, entitled ‘Complete Deception’, sheds light on the rapidly growing scam involving phantom carriers (fake carriers) and explains how freight forwarders and hauliers can protect themselves from immense financial losses in the digital age. Other highlights of this issue:
Real-world reports: A look behind the scenes at the highly professional ‘whole milk logistics’ operation on the North Sea coast, as well as in-depth profiles of the Bamberg-based haulage firm Herbst, now in its fifth generation and pursuing an innovative three-pillar strategy, and the Reinbek-based haulage firm Jan Bode, which specialises in removals.
Exclusive interviews: BALM President Christian Hoffmann discusses fair competition and checks on German transit routes.
Innovation & Technology: Reports on autonomous electric lorries without driver’s cabs, braking technology in the context of technological progress, and new research projects on intelligent load distribution.
The magazine was managed by the Corporate Publishing department, both in terms of design and editorial content. In addition to the printed version, all articles and issues from the past ten years are also available on the TREIBSTOFF app for iOS and Android.
