Podcast World of work: Future space piece goods pilot project

For six years, the DVZ editorial team has been offering a wide range of podcast formats that have become established in the logistics sector. The central element is “DVZ – The Week”, hosted by Robert Kümmerlen and Sven Bennühr, which deals with current topics in the logistics community. As part of a relaunch, the profiles of the podcasts were sharpened and new formats were introduced, such as “Spotlight”, a personality format, and “Stellwerk”, a rail podcast in cooperation with Rail Business. Other formats include “Arbeitswelt” by Amelie Bauer, “Von A nach Grün” by Frederic Witt and “Politik trifft Logistik” by Susanne Landwehr. The podcasts reach between 500 and 1000 listeners, with occasional outliers beyond that.

Here is an insight into the latest episode of the podcast “Arbeitswelt”: In April last year, the general cargo cooperation NG.Network launched a special training project: a small group of trainees and students discussed topics such as paperless processes on a monthly basis and drew up results. Steffen Landsiedel, mentor in the so-called future room, and Mikel Thiele, apprentice at Hellmann, talk about what the project is all about and what potential initiatives like this have for promoting young talent in logistics in a podcast with DVZ editor Amelie Bauer.
