Energiemarkt GmbH, based in Herrsching, took over EID Energie Informationsdienst from Hamburg-based DVV Media Group GmbH on May 1, 2024.
The divested portfolio consists of EID, whose daily digital information offering for the entire energy industry is characterized by a high level of price and market expertise with some exclusive analyses, and the technical and scientific monthly publication EEK.
Energiemarkt GmbH is part of the Martin Brückner Medien group, which already publishes several information offerings for the energy industry with Martin Brückner Infosource and Energie & Management. “In terms of content, EID is an excellent addition to our portfolio, especially with its outstanding expertise in mineral oil, fuels and mobility issues,” says owner Martin Brückner, explaining the takeover.
“We are pleased that the EID will be continued in a thematically appropriate environment and can contribute its strengths to an overall portfolio of energy industry information offerings,” says Martin Weber, Managing Director of DVV Media Group.
“A high level of continuity for readers, advertising customers and business partners is important to us,” emphasizes Timo Sendner, Managing Director of Energiemarkt GmbH.
The takeover of business operations will take place gradually over the coming weeks.
