DVV Media Group took over the statistics and analyses of the European bus market from Chatrou CME Solutions on 1 April 2024. The portfolio, which will be offered in future under the title ‘European Bus Data’, consists of annual and quarterly reports based on registration statistics in all European countries, supplemented by special reports, for example on alternative drive systems. The tables and charts in the report volumes provide a detailed look at market developments and market shares by individual countries, the various vehicle segments, the respective manufacturers and over time.
Wim Chatrou is a recognised expert in the European bus market, having worked for DAF, Bova and VDL. He has been collating production and sales data for manufacturers, suppliers and other industry players for 15 years. With the handover to DVV, the Dutchman is retiring shortly after his 70th birthday.
With European Bus Data, DVV is expanding its existing portfolio of specialised information for public transport, such as NaNa Nahverkehrs-Nachrichten, the expert medium NaNa-Brief, the trade journal DER NAHVERKEHR and the international Metro Report.
