AI Day on 3 November 2026 in Frankfurt

Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming logistics and supply chain management at a pace that is surprising even seasoned industry experts. Yet in many companies, there remains a significant gap between pilot projects and economic value. So how can the use of AI lead to meaningful and value-adding changes? When is a pilot project more than just an isolated technology initiative? How can its impact be measured in day-to-day operations? These are some of the questions that will take centre stage at the DVZ’s AI Day 2026.

Within a short space of time, AI has made its way into many areas of logistics. Real-time assistants support operational processes in transport and warehousing, automated invoice verification unlocks significant savings potential that had previously been overlooked, and adaptive models help to improve delivery times, identify risks at an early stage and build resilient supply chains. Even the optimisation of stock levels across sites or the reduction in missed collections in general cargo transport can be effectively supported by AI.

At the same time, the event highlights the human and organisational aspects. Staff need specific knowledge to ensure that AI tools deliver useful results. The data infrastructure and compliance requirements must be designed in such a way as to maximise the potential of AI. After all, when used correctly, AI is already creating competitive advantages in the logistics sector.

AI Day, taking place on 3 November 2026, will bring together AI users, decision-makers and project managers. The event will be held at the House of Logistics & Mobility (HOLM) in Frankfurt am Main.
