The 14th National Maritime Conference (NMK) aims to highlight the national importance of the industry beyond the coastal regions. This was emphasised by Dr. Christoph Ploß, maritime coordinator for the German government, on Tuesday in a personal conversation with editors-in-chief Kathrin Lau, Benjamin Klare and Sebastian Reimann. The joint interview by our maritime media brands Schiff & Hafen, THB and DVZ was a first and is intended to underline the unique position and relevance of our media portfolio in the political arena. Directly linked to this is our objective of securing the most prominent possible placement as a media partner at the conference in Emden in April, thereby supporting existing DVV business models in print and enabling new digital ones in the context of the event.
