Even if the need is even greater and not all projects have been financed by a long way, extensive funding is available for rail transport in Germany in the coming years. This is linked to the clear expectation of politicians that an improvement in reliability and capacity will actually be achieved in the foreseeable future.
Against this backdrop, the 27th Annual Conference of Railway Experts on February 13 and 14, 2025 – for the first time in Berlin – will address current specialist topics. Following a presentation by the Federal Ministry of Transport, the plenary day will focus on corridor redevelopment, the framework conditions from the industry’s perspective and sustainability in rail transport. On the vehicle side, not only will the latest news from the ERA on the fourth railroad package be discussed, but also specific issues relating to vehicle-rail interaction.
