The World Congress of Public Transport took place in Hamburg from June 15 to 18, 2025. The global public transport association UITP hosted its “UITP Summit 2025” – with an extensive conference program, a trade fair with 400 exhibitors and a total of around 10,000 participants. The event was characterized by the internationality of the visitors and the range of topics from autonomous driving and the electrification of bus fleets to information and ticketing systems and shared mobility concepts.
As the host city, Hamburg presented itself with numerous innovative projects for public transport on rail and road, autonomous driving and urban and mobility design. The DVV Media Group accompanied the UITP Summit 2025 with its specialist publications for public transport and rail transport as an official media partner.
