Under the title &#8220;Artificial intelligence in the maritime industry: solutions and challenges&#8221;, the German Maritime Center (DMZ) and the Fraunhofer Center for Maritime Logistics and Services (CML) held a forward-looking specialist event as part of the German Shipping Day.<br>&#8220;Artificial intelligence will change the maritime industry in the long term &#8211; provided we use it with foresight and responsibility. This event is intended to provide orientation and promote exchange so that innovation and safety go hand in hand,&#8221; emphasized Dr. Matthias Cat\u00f3n, Managing Director of the DMZ, in his opening speech.The event showed that artificial intelligence offers enormous potential for the maritime industry.
